Frequently
Asked Questions
Can I use my health insurance for services at Aspire?
Yes, we are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Evernorth/Cigna PPO, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Tricare East insurance plans. All other plans may offer out-of-network benefits and we will verify your benefits and consult with you regarding your costs before beginning therapy.

Do you offer Telehealth or in-person services?
We currently only offer telehealth services as we have transitioned into a fully virtual practice.

How long does it take to see a therapist?
After an intake/consultation is completed, a clinician will contact you within 48 hours. The clinician will then set you up in our client portal, Simple Practice, where you will complete a self-report intake questionnaire, and consent forms, and upload insurance information. After your insurance benefits have been verified and you agree to pay the cost of services, your clinician will move forward with scheduling your first session. Most first sessions can be scheduled within two weeks of the initial contact.

Is there anything I need to do prior to my appointment?
We ask that before your first session, you make sure a credit card is on file in Simple Practice for payment. We also ask that you become familiar with the Simple Practice portal as this will be where you can upload documents, access invoices, and update payment and insurance information.

Can an Aspire clinician communicate with my doctor, other providers, and/or other people of my choice?
We are happy to collaborate with providers and others in your support network. Ask your clinician to send you the release of information form in Simple Practice to permit us to do so.

What forms of payment does Aspire accept?
We require all clients to upload a credit card into our Simple Practice portal. If you would like to pay by cash or check at the time of service, please work with your clinician.

Can I request seeing a therapist of certain identities (sexual orientation, gender, religion, race, etc.)?
We welcome you to communicate your preferences for a clinician. We can't guarantee the clinician will be available but we will do our best to pair you with a clinician of your preference.

Do you offer alternatives if I can't afford therapy?
If you can't afford therapy, we do offer sliding scale services. We are also happy to connect you with outside community services that can meet your needs.
