Frequently
Asked Questions

Can I use my health insurance for services at Aspire?

Yes, we are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Evernorth/Cigna PPO, and United Healthcare insurance plans. All other plans may offer out of network benefits and we will verify your benefits and consult with you regarding your costs before beginning therapy.

Does Aspire charge the same fee for individual, family, and couples therapy?

Please refer to our rate sheet.

Do you offer Telehealth or in person services?

We understand that circumstances can limit availability to meet in person. We see children and teens in person whenever possible. Adults may work with their clinician to decide whether Telehealth or in person services are most appropriate.

How long does it take to see a therapist?

After the intake paperwork is completed, a clinician will contact you within 48 hours to schedule your first session. Most first sessions can be scheduled within two weeks.

Is there anything I need to do prior to my appointment?

Prior to your appointment, we ask that you complete your intake paperwork and you create an account on our client portal, Simple Practice.

Can an Aspire clinician communicate with my doctor, other providers, and/or other people of my choice?

We are happy to collaborate with providers and others in your support network. Ask your clinician to send you the release of information form in Simple Practice to give us permission to do so.

What forms of payment does Aspire accept?

We require all clients to upload a credit card into our Simple Practice portal. If you would like to pay by cash or check at time of service, please give your clinician payment directly in an envelope.

Can I request seeing a therapist of certain identities (sexual orientation, gender, religion, race, etc.)?

We welcome you to communicate your preferences for a clinician. We can't guarantee the clinician will be available but we will do our best to pair you with a clinician of your preference.

Do you offer alternatives if I can't afford therapy?

If you can't afford therapy, we do offer a select number of sessions with our intern therapists at a reduced rate. We are also happy to connect you with outside community services that can meet your needs.
